06/19/2014 09:00 AM EDT If PBGC is responsible for your pension benefit, the easiest way to transact business with us is through MyPBA, our secure online service. MyPBA is fast, free, and available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your online transactions are safe and confidential. You can change your address, sign up for direct deposit, designate your beneficiary, print out your IRS Form 1099-R, and view your payment information.
We've recently made MyPBA easier to use, based on our customers' feedback. Among the changes we've made: a streamlined process for setting up your account, easier login, faster retrieval of lost passwords, and compatibility with Internet Explorer 11. With the June 6 release, we've also added the ability to print an income verification letter, to view a list of the documents PBGC has on file for you, and to view any power-of-attorney designations. The updated MyPBA also allows us to send sensitive messages and documents to you through a secure inbox inside MyPBA. On our end, we've provided increased security so that we can detect any intrusions that may try to create fraudulent accounts. Wondering who can use MyPBA?
