Worth,El Paso,Houston,Laredo,Lubbock,Midland-Odessa,San Antonio,Tyler-Longview,Victoria) for Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. This information has recently been updated, and is now available.

Thursday 06/19/14
Patchy light African dust should continue over much of the state along and east of a line from Big Bend to the Guadalupe Mountains, and could possibly raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" levels over parts of this area. Elsewhere in far West Texas, lower background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range statewide.

Friday 06/20/14
Patchy light African dust should continue over much of the state and could possibly raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" levels over parts of this area, including in parts of far West Texas where lighter amounts of African dust may arrive by later in the day. An intense African dust cloud is expected to move into South Texas late in the day, resulting in increasing particulate as the dust cloud moves inland.

Saturday 06/21/14 Outlook
Intense African dust with "Moderate" or possibly higher PM2.5 levels should continue over South Texas and spread inland into Central and Southeast Texas. Patchy light African dust should continue over much of the rest of the state and could possibly raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" levels over parts of this area.

Sunday 06/22/14 Outlook
The intense African dust cloud should spread to cover much of the state along and east of a line from Big Bend to the Guadalupe Mountains, and will likely raise the daily PM2.5 AQI to "Moderate" levels over most of this area. Elsewhere in far West Texas, moderate winds and lower background levels should help to keep air quality in the "Good" range statewide.
