Join the Discussion: Medicaid Innovation Accelerator Program

The Medicaid Innovation Accelerator Program (IAP) was launched by CMS in July 2014 to improve health and health care for Medicaid beneficiaries by supporting states' efforts to accelerate new payment and service delivery reforms. The program will provide technical assistance to states and will be closely coordinated with ongoing Medicaid delivery and payment reform activities, as well as Medicare-Medicaid demonstrations and other CMS initiatives.

CMS is hosting a series of free in-person conversations designed to share information about IAP's priority areas and to get input on the initiative from stakeholders.  The sessions are scheduled as follows:

Denver, Colorado: September 10, 2014, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. MST

Register.  The deadline to register is September 3, 2014.

Baltimore, Maryland:  September 15, 2014, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EDT

Register.  The deadline to register is September 8, 2014.

Chicago, Illinois:  September 25, 2014, 2014, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CDT

Register.  The deadline to register is September 18, 2014.

Once your registration is processed, you will receive follow-up information from CMS.  If you have questions about your registration, please send an email to MedicaidIAP@cms.hhs.gov.
